Standard Precision and Crystallization Process of Plastic Mold

The temperature of the plastic mold will reduce the standard precision of the products, so that the qualified rate of the products will drop. The temperature difference between the mold core and the cavity is too large, and the plastic parts will be shortened unevenly, which will lead to the tortuous deformation of the products and affect the appearance of the parts. If the temperature of plastic mold is too high, the product will deform during and after demoulding, which will reduce its shape and standard accuracy.

Crystalline plastic of plastic mold. High temperature of plastic mold is conducive to the crystallization process and prevents the change of standard during storage or application. With regard to plastic flexible plastics, the use of plastic molds at low temperatures can reduce the molding shortening rate, improve the standard precision of parts, shorten the molding cycle, and improve production efficiency.

When the plastic mold is filled at low temperature, if the melt speed is not high enough, the internal stress of the product will increase, which is easy to cause warping deformation or application cracking, especially for some high viscosity plastics. The temperature of the plastic mold will reduce the fluidity of the plastic melt, making the parts unclear, or even the mold filling is not satisfied, or during the mold filling process, because the temperature of the melt front drops too much, obvious cold seams occur, resulting in the decline of the mechanical properties of the products. Too low temperature of the plastic mold will also make the surface of the products unsmooth, causing various surface defects.

Pre inspection of plastic mould:

Once the plastic mold is installed on the mold, it should be inspected to find out the quality problems in a timely manner, and the mold should be repaired to avoid being disassembled after it is installed on the machine. When the fixed template and movable template of the mold are inspected separately, attention should be paid to the direction marks to avoid mistakes during mold closing.

Plastic mold inclined guide device:

When installing the mold, two people should closely cooperate to pay attention to safety. If there is a mold with lateral parting organization, the slider should be installed in the horizontal direction, that is, the movable block moves left and right.

Fastening of plastic mould:

When the mold locating ring is installed into the locating ring seat of the upper fixed template of the injection molding machine, close the mold at a very slow speed to make the moving template slightly compress the mold, and then press the upper compression plate. The compression plate must be installed with shims. It is necessary to install 4 pieces of compression plate respectively. When pressing the upper compression plate, it is necessary to deliberately adjust the height of the conditioning screw to the same height as the mold foot, that is, the compression plate must be flat. If the pressing plate is inclined, the die foot of the die cannot be pressed tightly. The side face of the pressing plate shall not be close to the mold to avoid damage to the mold due to friction.
